Macadamia & Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour (all purpose)
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 3/4 Cup butter (unsalted, melted)
- 1 cup packaged brown sugar
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups Semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup halved/chopped macadamia or nuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper. Preheat the tray.
- Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- In a medium bowl, cream together melted butter, brown and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg and take yolk until light and creamy.
- Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
- Freeze the dough for minimum 30 minutes.
- Drop cookie dough onto cookie sheet about 3 inches apart.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are likely toasted. Cool on wire racks.

- Potato instead of chena

- Suji ghol makes the patties crispy- can use instead of chena.
