Macadamia & Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper. Preheat the tray.
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  4. In a medium bowl, cream together melted butter, brown and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg and take yolk until light and creamy.
  5. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
  6. Freeze the dough for minimum 30 minutes.
  7. Drop cookie dough onto cookie sheet about 3 inches apart.
  8. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are likely toasted. Cool on wire racks.
